Thanks to all who attended ISITC Europe’s recent General Meeting which was held on Tuesday 10th October at Citi, Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LB.

The theme of the meeting was “Realities of new operational cost models – and how to excel in the era of tech disruption”. Steve Scemama, Partner Head of Capital Markets Technology at Oliver Wyman, opened the meeting with a Keynote on “Cost transformation leveraging Digital Architecture, Sourcing and Evolving Operating Models”. This was followed by panel discussions on:

• The changing face of cross-regulations such as MiFID II and GDPR (and the likely impacts on business and operating models to come)
• How the finance sector and Universities can collaborate for mutual gain
• Discussion on key consideration points for outsourcing – Evolving Models “Smartsourcing”
