London, 13th November, 2012 – ISITC Europe, the industry group dedicated to improving the operational efficiency of the capital markets industry, today announced an exciting agenda ahead of its annual AGM.

The event is set to provide new and more established members with the latest insight on regulation and innovation, and keynotes include David Bannister, Editor of Banking Technology.

The event will be held on Thursday 15th November at the RBS Offices, Bishopsgate. Throughout the day, panel members will take the floor to address various themes and issues facing the capital markets industry. Panellists include Dr Anthony Kirby (Director of regulatory and risk management practice, Ernst & Young), Tony Freeman (Executive Director: Industry Relations, Omgeo) and Rob Bridson (Tax Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers), among other esteemed thought leaders in financial services.

Graeme Austin, Chief Executive of ISITC Europe, said:

“We are all set for a stimulating and invigorating conference. It’s hugely exciting to draw so many thought leaders into one event and I am delighted that ISITC Europe is once again at the centre of the conversation on so many important issues. In today’s volatile and increasingly complex world it’s more important than ever that ISITC Europe gives the industry a voice and allows members to help shape the direction of initiatives that are driving our industry. We also get the chance to update the community on the work we have been doing since our last gathering.”

ISITC Europe speaks for the whole industry, including broker/dealers, custodians, investment managers as well as vendors and utilities. Its mission is to develop standards and market practices that will enhance efficiency across the transaction life cycle.
