UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce Publishes Draft Report

Today the UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce has published the draft recommendations and consultation report.

The report is 75 pages long and contains 43 principal recommendations plus 14 additional recommendations. These recommendations have been crafted in 8 months of hard work by 450+ of our peers from more than 110 different firms operating in the UK market today. In its final iteration, the final recommendations will become a TGT Post trade Code of Conduct.

This report also contains an Industry Consultation consisting of six questions. A word version of the AST Technical Taskforce Consultation Response Form is available for download and ease of response by clicking the link above.

All responses will be published. If you wish your response to either remain confidential or anonymised, please indicate this preference clearly in your response.

Alternatively, please consider responding via your Trade Association.

This consultation is open to all market participants including non-UK domiciled investors and service providers that link to UK markets.
