Thibault Gobert (France)
Thibault Gobert is one of the ISITC Europe Country Ambassadors representing France.
Thibault spent 23 years in the investment banking industry, capital markets: Citigroup, Société Générale, and BNP Paribas where, as Managing Director, he was head of retail structured products for European desks. With a team of 30+ front-office experienced staff, and after the transfer of RBS derivatives €18Bln franchise in 2014/2015, he established BNP Paribas as the European leader in this industry.
Thibault was the founder and chairman of the French trade-lobby association for retail structured products, and board member of the European EUSIPA during 8 years, meaning multiple interactions with national competent authorities and European regulatory bodies.
After this period in investment banking, Thibault moved into the market infrastructure space: 3 years at the German Euwax/Cats, then Spectrum Markets MTF – BaFin supervised, operating 24/5 in 9 EU countries – where he is currently full-time dedicated since 2019, as Head of Liquidity Pool.
In parallel, Thibault has been the managing director of the family-office ARNO since 2010 (real-estate and cash management). He performs non-profit activities: member of the Funding Committee at Paris Initiative Entreprises, Senior advisor for Prouesse Impact Fund (Sustainable Investment), and member of the Concorde Foundation. Paris-based, he joined in 2024 the non-profit Society ISITC Continental Europe, as Ambassador for France and ISITC Europe board member etc…
