The Accelerated Settlement Technical Taskforce has just published it’s interim report of industry recommendations to enable the UK to move to T+1. A huge task, conducted in exemplary fashion – so a big shout out to Andrew Douglas and colleagues. We have been tracking this since early doors, along with our friends  The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) at our “Friday Club” discussions with George Littlejohn, Alan Burr, recently-anointed chair of the CISI Operations Forum (congrats Alan), Alex Chow of The Investment Association, Kevin Sloane and Michael Cahill of PIMFA – Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association, Richard Leigh of Scottish Investment Operations, not forgetting ISITC Europe’s Gary Wright and Tony Freeman

The document contains a consultation form, (a copy of which is available for completion by clicking on the link) for the Industry to give feedback to the taskforce, all comments to be received by the 31st October 2024.
