LEI Working Group

The Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) Working Group was formed in 2012 to address the impact on IT and operations of the LEI data structure being created by regulators across the world in order to better manage systemic risk in the wake of the 2007-08 crash.

It delivers input to the Financial Stability Board (FSB) Industry Advisory Panel on LEI, as well as providing analysis and recommendations to financial institutions as to how to best utilise the LEI system once it is introduced.
